In the mode "first 5 effects" you have to remember the effect chain for each preset to know, which effect is assigned to the corresponding footswitch. for me to turn on/off the reverb is not necessary in a patch, but the compressor or the eq (volume boost) is essential (for me). selectable categories for the footswitch fx-mode : you can change the fx 1-5 on the footswitch to categories ( would be my favorite mode), but then you cannot control eq and dynamics. with the bbe15, wah, stomp, delay and spring reverb there is not enough processing power left for an eq.
